Our philosophy of impacting lives from seed to cup is steeped in everything we do. We’ve been in the business of doing right by our farmers since the beginning, and of advocating for coffee growers and exporters by paying fair, sustainable prices that help grow their success.
We believe it’s not enough to do well, we must also do good.
Within our own community here in Los Angeles, we’ve donated a substantial amount to schools to help make the future a little brighter for students. We inspire our guests, employees and partners to come together and help us support youth education projects, from school renovations to art classes.
From investing in programs that care for our farmers’ well-being, to training the next generation of growers, to protecting the environment, we do everything we can to leave the communities we source from a little better than we found them. Teaching sustainable business practices and providing free healthcare, financial loans, schools and daycare are just a few ways we’ve been making a difference around the world.
And encouraging creativity within our ranks is just as important. We provide opportunities for career growth and recognition, like our signature barista competition, celebrating team members from 20 countries around the world. Because at the end of the day, they’re the ones who make your cup truly special. We just give them the recipe.
